Gardening

Room 16 is learning about the joy of gardening.  With the generous contributions from Alicia Blake (Roland's mom) who provided portable garden containers, soil, seeds, and plants along with Kendra who has provided more seeds, soil, gardening tools, and her green thumb. The class has been diligently watering every morning and weeding when necessary. They enjoy the hard work and seeing the results. In addition, the class has been learning about photosynthesis, pollination, how to identify plant parts and most importantly, how to care for the plants. We are all looking forward to seeing the fruits of our labor... literally.
