Parent Support Center

The Salvin Family Center's goals include coordination and provision of on-site social and health services for both students and parents of Salvin school.  The Center provides weekly parent support group session and trainings.  The sessions provided in both English and Spanish.  It provides child-parent advocacy, community and health agency referrals, and emergency food supplies.  The Center also hosts our school-based management advisory committee meetings.  It provides a portal which links the parents to the school and the school to the parents. It is a safety net for parents to gain knowledge across a broad spectrum which in turn helps parents expand their capacity to support their children emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
